Lawn Fertilization & Plant Health Care Technician- GreenLeaf Houston

Position Overview:

GreenLeaf Houston is looking for a hardworking, dependable Lawn Fertilization & Plant Health Care Technician to help deliver elite lawn and landscape services throughout the Houston area. This position focuses on lawn fertilization, weed control, shrub and tree treatments, disease prevention, and customer education. We are looking for someone who takes pride in creating beautiful properties and enjoys working outdoors.

Responsibilities:

• Apply lawn fertilizers, pre-emergents, weed control, fungicides, and plant health products
• Perform lawn and landscape evaluations
• Identify turf diseases, weeds, insects, and plant deficiencies
• Apply treatments safely and according to label requirements
• Operate spray rigs, spreaders, and application equipment
• Communicate professionally with homeowners
• Maintain accurate service records
• Assist with route efficiency and customer retention
• Maintain clean company vehicles and equipment

Requirements:

• Valid Texas Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Pass a drug & background test
• Ability to work outdoors in Houston heat
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Strong attention to detail
• Great customer service skills
• Experience in lawn care, landscaping, or turf management preferred
• Texas Department of Agriculture license preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Christmas light installation
• Experience using ladders and basic hand tools
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Team-oriented mindset
