Lawn & Plant Health Care Manager GreenLeaf Houston

Position Overview:

GreenLeaf Houston is hiring a Lawn & Plant Health Care Manager to oversee and grow our fertilization and plant healthcare division. This leadership role is responsible for managing technicians, improving production efficiency, maintaining service quality, training staff, and helping scale the division throughout the Houston market.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of lawn fertilization and plant healthcare division
• Schedule and oversee technician routes
• Train and mentor technicians
• Ensure quality control on all lawn and landscape treatments
• Diagnose advanced turf and plant health issues
• Monitor chemical inventory and equipment maintenance
• Improve customer retention and service quality
• Assist sales team with estimates and customer consultations
• Develop production systems and operational efficiencies
• Maintain compliance with all TDA regulations and safety standards
• Support recruiting and hiring efforts

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years experience in lawn fertilization or plant healthcare
• Leadership or management experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of turfgrass, weeds, shrubs, trees, diseases, and fertilization programs
• Texas Department of Agriculture license required or ability to obtain quickly
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong leadership mentality
• Valid Texas Driver’s License
• Pass a drug & background test

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing crews or routes
• Knowledge of Houston-area turf and soil conditions
• Experience with CRM systems and route management software
• Ability to help grow a service division strategically
