Position Overview:
GreenLeaf Houston is seeking a Seasonal Christmas Light Installation Manager to lead and oversee large-scale residential and commercial holiday lighting projects throughout the Houston area. This position is responsible for managing crews, coordinating installs, maintaining production schedules, ensuring quality control, and delivering an elite customer experience during the holiday season.
This is a leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys working outdoors, and can manage both people and production efficiently during peak season.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily Christmas lighting installation operations
- Lead and supervise installation crews on residential and commercial projects
- Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and project timelines
- Perform site walks and quality control inspections
- Ensure proper installation of roofline lighting, trees, garland, wreaths, RGB lighting, timers, and power distribution
- Train technicians on safety procedures and installation standards
- Troubleshoot lighting issues and oversee service calls
- Maintain inventory of lights, clips, wire, timers, and materials
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, HOAs, and commercial clients
- Ensure all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and at GreenLeaf Houston standards
- Assist with warehouse organization and material prep during the season
Requirements:
- Prior Christmas light installation experience preferred
- Leadership or crew management experience required
- Comfortable working on ladders and rooftops
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to work long seasonal hours, including weekends during peak season
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Valid Texas Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Pass a drug & background test
- Ability to problem solve and lead under pressure
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing multiple install crews
- Knowledge of commercial-grade lighting systems
- Experience with permanent RGB systems
- Bucket truck or lift experience preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
